Cardinals
4 to 5 year olds
SOCIAL SKILLS

Experience the pleasure of playing with a group of children all the same age and helps put toys away at clean up time.

Respects the rights and property of others and uses manner words.

Learn to share, take turns, and cooperate with others.

Sit and attend to work in a small for 20 to 25 minutes and large group for 15 to 20 minutes.

READING READINESS SKILLS

Listen to determine which words rhyme and naming the words that rhyme.

Can recite Nursery Rhymes.

Names opposites.

Orders pictures by time sequence in a story or situation.

Recognize several words that rhyme and put them in a word family group and begin to read. For example the word “at” produces a rhyming family: bat, cat, sat, mat, etc

MATH/SCIENCE READINESS SKILLS

FINE MOTOR SKILLS
